You can buy one at your local parts store and they are not that expensive compared to the money you can save at an auto repair shop. You will find that in these books, it will show you step by step how to do all kinds of minor repairs or maintenance projects and it will show you the tools you will need. Many of them you might already have in your toolbox at home. It is important to take your time and make sure you do everything right and be sure that any parts you take out get replaced or put back in. Ending up with an extra piece is not a good thing.

Once you have purchased a book and start thumbing through it, even the lady of the house will be encouraged to try her hand at small repairs instead of taking it to the garage. This will ultimately start saving you hundreds of dollars over time and you will be able to use your hard earned money for some other things instead of a car repair bill.
